While plugging your phone or laptop into a public USB port to charge seems innocent enough, the truth is that public power sources can present risk.
Theoretically, it’s possible for a threat actor to install malware onto your device and/or steal data from that device via USB.
A simple way to prevent this is by using a USB Data Blocker. Simply fit it onto the end of your charging cable (the end that you plug into the power source), and you’re good to go.
- Attach between your USB cable and charger to block data transfer/syncing. Charge mobile devices without risk of hacking/uploading viruses in cars, airports, etc.
- Up to 2.4A (12W) charging speed.
- Aluminum shell for better durability.
